4 Achievable New Years Resolutions

secret key for a good lifeIt’s twenty days into 2017, and you’ve probably thought about your New Year’s Resolutions or maybe you’re “trying” to implement them.

So many people commit to huge New Year’s resolutions nearly impossible to achieve. Then, they end up not reaching their goals. One suggestion I have for you is, make your New Year’s resolution ACHIEVABLE this year.

When you do achieve your goals, you’ll be so much healthier, and happier.

Here are four perfect completely achievable resolutions :

#1. Hydrate with more water
Did you notice when you drink more water you feel better? Water helps your body run better and will even help you to lose weight. Water helps give you a beautiful, youthful glow too. Make sure you don’t only chug it all at once. Grab a water bottle and keep it with you throughout the day. This will make it easier to achieve your goal, and it’ll be so beneficial for your entire body.

#2. Crowd out unhealthy foods
Unhealthy foods filled with sugar and toxins do your body no good. Instead of eating because you’ve a sweet tooth craving or because something looks delicious, eat because you want to nourish your body. If you eat foods that give you energy and help you feel better, you’ll be on track for a healthier New Year. Begin 2017 eating whole foods to nourish and benefit your body.

#3. Move more
Does your New Year’s resolution include heading to the gym every morning? Great goal, but is it achievable with your schedule? You don’t need to head to the gym to move more. Actually, if you sit most of the day it’s a great idea to go for a walk on your lunch break, or stand up and move in between breaks. Make moving fun in 2017. You’ll feel much better!

#4. Let go of negative thinking
Those thoughts that creep into your head judging you, showing you all your mistakes, making you feel heavy and dark. Also, it can show up in judgmental and critical thoughts you’ve of others. In 2017 commit to stop your negative thinking. This’ll help you to be happier and support your being healthier.

When you’re thinking of your goals for 2017, (and any time you’re doing goal setting) start with an achievable goal that’ll help you become a happier and healthier you!
