Here’s 5 Easy Ways to Stick to your New Year Resolutions. If you’re tired of repeating the same cycles over and over without getting results.
If you think resolutions don’t work, because you can’t stick to them. You may avoid setting them, but it doesn’t have to be this way.
These tips work. Most people set themselves up by creating complicated resolutions without a plan and then they fail. Which is why this simple plan you can follow!
My 5 Easy Ways to Stick to your New Year Resolutions is perfect to kick start 2020 feeling your: healthiest, happiest, most sexiest self!
Here’s your perfectly achievable New Year’s plan:
1. Hydrate with more water
Do you notice when you drink more water you feel better? Water helps your body run better and will even help you lose weight. Water helps give you a beautiful, youthful glow too. Make sure you don’t only chug it all at once. Grab a water bottle and keep it with you throughout the day. This’ll make it easier to achieve your goal, and it’s beneficial for your entire body.
2. Crowd out unhealthy foods
Unhealthy foods filled with sugar and toxins do your body no good. Instead of eating because you’re craving sweets or because something looks delicious, eat to nourish your body. If you eat foods that give you energy and help you feel better, you’ll be on track for a healthier New Year. Begin 2020 eating whole foods to nourish and benefit your body.
3. Move more but not at the GYM
Does your New Year’s resolution include heading to the gym every morning? Great goal, but is it achievable with your schedule? You don’t need to head to the gym to move more. Actually, if you sit most of the day it’s a great idea to go for a walk on your lunch break, or stand up and move in between breaks. Make moving fun in 2020. You’ll feel much better!
4. Let go of negative thinking
Those thoughts that creep into your head judging you, showing you all your mistakes, making you feel heavy and dark. Or the judgmental and critical thoughts of others. In 2020 commit to stop your negative thinking. Ensuring you’re, happier and healthier.
5. Take time to unplug
From a few minutes to hours. Take a break from screens. Put them in airport mode, better yet leave them at home when you go for a walk. Studies show taking more quiet time, helps you think clearer, be less distracted and feel more peace.
Bonus: pick a day and let it be the day you decide you’re off line. Send a note to your peeps and let them know you’ll be returning messages the next day. Giving yourself downtime is a gift to your spirit, use the time to connect with: YOU, friends and family.
When you’re thinking of your goals for 2020, (or any time you’re doing goal setting) start with an achievable goal.
